RTL interactive is parting ways with wer-kennt-wen.de. "It is planned to no longer operate the social network as of 1.6. 2014" it says in a press release. Some of the 40 employees affected by the closure will be deployed in other areas of Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland.
In 2013, wer-kennt-wen.de ranked eleventh among the most popular social networks - not git enough to survive with so much competition.
