Elon Musk is Twitter owner
After months of back and forth, Elon Musk is now officially the owner of Twitter and calls himself "Chief Twit." The previous management team has to go.
Many Trump fans are hoping that now Donald Trump will get his account back, since Elon Muks calls himself a "freedom of speech absolutist" - which includes ANY kind of opinion, even dangerous ones. Musk, however, is trying to reassure both advertisers and more moderate people:
Twitter should not become a place of horror where anything can be said without consequence, Musk said. The platform should be "welcoming to all," he said. We'll see where that leads... In any case, the federal government wants to keep a close eye on Twitter.
